We've traveled with my husband from Italy to St Petersburg. That was a great location! The city is truly the Venice of the North, with a great number of museums and parks, canals and churches - many beautiful cathedrals. We've stayed at small hotel Pio on Mohovaya (my friends had recommended me the hotel) - big and spacious room with lovely ambience. The reception was polite and we were given a warm welcome !!! The only thing was the entrance - it could be more brighter. The rest was great! Thanks

I prefer small family owned hotels to big city hotels. My impressions about Pio hotel were very positive and bright. Very attentive service, visa support and other trip questions were arranged for me by hotel staff. Nice location - you walk through a quite street still being in the city centre.
Loved the hotel and St. Petersburg!
